MCKC CONSTITUTION CLAUSE 4: MEMBERSHIP

4.1 Ordinary Members – Any persons above the age of 18 shall be eligible to be an ordinary member.

4.2 Life Member – Any persons above the age of 18 shall be eligible to be Life member and made onetime payment of RM2,500.

4.3 Student Member – Any college/university student with proof of study on the year of membership sign up.

4.4 Every application for membership shall be proposed and seconded by two existing members and shall be forwarded to the Secretary who shall at the first convenient opportunity, submit it to the Executive Committee for approval. The Executive Committee shall not unduly reject any application based on race, gender, color, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Every applicant whose application has been approved as aforesaid shall upon payment of the first subscription be admitted as a member of the Organisation and shall be entitled to all the privileges of membership.

4.5 The Executive Committee shall have the right to propose the establishment of another category of membership if and when necessary with the agreement of the AGM or EGM.

4.6 Only Ordinary, Student and Life Members shall be eligible to hold any position in the Executive Committee.

4.7 Only Ordinary, Student and Life members shall be eligible to vote at the Annual and at any Extraordinary General Meeting.

MCKC CONSTITUTION CLAUSE 6: SOURCE OF INCOME

6.1 The Annual Subscription which is non-refundable shall be as follows:

(a) Ordinary Member - RM 120.00

(b) Life Member - RM2500.00 (in one payment)

(c) Student Member - RM50.00

(d) Entrance Fee - RM 15.00

Life Members shall be exempted from payment of Annual subscription and Entrance Fee. Student members sall be exempted from payment of Entrance Fee.

6.2 All Members shall pay to the Treasurer the Annual subscription before their Membership is considered lapsed.

6.3 Any lapse member who fails to settle his subscription by the due date shall be deprived of his privileges of membership, and will be subjected to Entrance Fee upon payment of Annual subscription.
